The Application Form:
Our application form asks you a series of questions about yourself. Also, you’ll be required to pay the application fee (which is refundable if you don’t proceed). If your application meets the initial selection criteria, a franchise selection team will then review and assess your application and invite you to a meeting.
Read The Franchise Disclosure Kit:
We will send you our current Franchise Disclosure Kit after receiving your application. You will gain a detailed understanding of our franchise model and decide whether this is the right business opportunity for you. Reviewing this information during our review and assessment will allow you to come to your meeting with lots of relevant questions.
Consider Your Position:
Consider how you will finance your new business at this point. We can also connect you with an independent franchise finance broker who can then offer you help whenever you’re in need of additional funds.
Meet the Team:
Meet our team as a potential franchisee. We will discuss future plans and opportunities with Milky Lane at this meeting. In addition to having your questions answered, you will also gain a thorough understanding of the business.
Due Diligence:
You should conduct your independent assessment and review to ensure the appropriateness of the opportunity for you. We recommend seeking independent legal, business, and accounting advice, speaking to existing Franchisees, and asking us as many questions as you feel necessary.
Ready to Commit:
Now that you are all set up and ready, we are ready to commence the final stages. You will receive a conditional approval letter advising you of the next steps if our working fit is good. Signing a Franchise Offer and paying a deposit forms part of the process, so we can start searching for a perfect location.
Training:
Our Milky Lane training takes eight weeks, starting with two weeks at our Central Kitchen Operations. In the training period, our experienced Store Managers will coach you in all aspects of the business in one of our company stores.
While you learn about your new business, our building team will plan, design, and build your store according to our brand specifications. You won’t have to worry about anything from applying for permits to putting the finishing touches on your new store.
The Milky Lane operations team will provide you with on-the-job training from the very first day so that you are guided through the first week, and your store opens to the public successfully.
